Cute little Elf

This was such a cute doll. The pattern was so easy to read and complete. I will be supporting this business again. Thank you!!

The doll design gets a 5 but the pattern, not so much - maybe a 1.5

I love the look of these adorable dolls which is why I bought the pattern but the directions are terrible. They are massively lacking in detail and description and I'm not a novice at sewing. There's more detail on how to stuff the pipe cleaner in the arms than there is on how to attach the arms themselves.

It would be great if your directions referenced photos and though some do, other directions are just plain vague. I can't imagine there hasn't had a lot of complaints about this honestly and I'm not really a big complainer. I read the directions I don't know how many times, and I still can't figure out how the hair is attached (before or after you sew the front and back of the head and body together or after) or how the arms or the legs are to be attached.

I'm very frustrated at this point because I was hoping I'd be a lot further along by now. I'll update this once I hear back from the artist/maker and I'm really hoping she can help me out and maybe refine the directions so making this can be fun instead of the headache it currently is turning out to be. More to come....

Fun project

My daughter is leaning to sew, and this was a fun pattern for us to do together for Christmas.
